One Weekend. Three Divisions. Countless Memories.
Thereβs something special about tournament weekend.
It starts with a few friends saying, βWe should put a team together.β Before long, the group chat is buzzing, jerseys are being ordered, and someone is desperately trying to convince that one player who always says, "I'm retired." (They're never actually retired.)
Then Saturday morning arrives.
Coffee in one hand. Cleats in the other. Music playing. Trash talk begins before the first coin toss. Old teammates reunite. New friendships are made. And for one weekend, life slows down just enough to enjoy the game we all love.
That's what the Christian Fellowship League Summer Tournament is all about.
Sure, there's competition. Every team wants to bring home the championship trophy. There will be diving catches, goal-line stands, interceptions, and maybe even a few highlight-reel plays that get talked about for months.
But the tournament has always been about more than winning.
It's about laughing with your teammates between games.
It's about cheering on complete strangers because they just made an unbelievable catch.
It's about meeting people from across Colorado who simply love football and love being part of something positive.
Whether you're a seasoned tournament veteran or entering your very first event, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere where competition and sportsmanship go hand in hand.
This year we're offering three divisions, so there's a place for everyone:
π Men's Competitive β Bring your best.
π Men's Recreational β Play hard, have fun.
π Coed β Fast-paced, exciting football with teams of 3 men and 3 women on the field.
No matter which division you choose, you'll be guaranteed multiple games, plenty of action, and a weekend full of memories.
So gather your crew.
Find that old teammate.
Recruit your cousin who's "still got it."
Convince your co-worker who keeps saying they used to be a quarterback.
And if you don't have a full team yet... start asking around. You might be surprised how many people have been waiting for someone to say, "Want to play?"
We'll see you at Parkfield Lake Park.
Bring the energy.
Bring the sportsmanship.
Bring the fun.
We'll take care of the football.
The countdown has begun. Are you in? ππ₯
