This is for the ladies. Our sister organization, Empower will be kicking off their 2026 season with 2nd Draft tournament. EmpowHer is Colorado's only adult women's flag football league. Adult women of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend.

EmpowHer is kicking off 2026 with their 2nd Annual Women’s Flag Football Draft Tournament on April 11th at Parkfield Lake Park in Denver, Colorado — and this event is all about empowering women athletes.

A League Built For Women — By Women

EmpowHer is exclusively for women ages 18 and up. This is a dedicated space where women can develop their skills, compete at a high level, and build meaningful connections within a supportive, competitive environment.

In a sport that continues to grow rapidly nationwide, EmpowHer is ensuring that women have a platform to shine.

A Draft Format Designed to Build Community

This tournament features a unique draft-style format. Instead of entering with a pre-formed team, players register individually and are drafted by captains. Each team is intentionally balanced with both veteran players and rookies.

This format does something powerful:

• New players learn directly from experienced women athletes

• Veterans help develop and mentor emerging talent

• Teams are competitive and balanced

• Strong relationships are formed across the league

EmpowHer isn’t just organizing a tournament — they are building a women’s flag football community in Colorado.

The draft tournament is designed to help women meet, connect, recruit, and potentially build teams for league play or even travel competition. A pre-event hangout is also being planned so players can connect before stepping onto the field.
