Hi all,

Well, I believe our first Air it Out Coed tournament was a success in more ways than one. We all had a great time despite our initial set back with our fields being double booked by Denver Parks and Rec. Moving an entire tournament with players, teams and equipment was not for the weak. We not only moved an entire tournament to a field 20 mins away, we got everything torn down and set back up in one hour and 2 mins flat. It was absolutely amazing what we were able to accomplish with everyone’s help. All the players were patience and understand. I can’t thank everyone enough. After that, we did our thing and did it well. It took a minute to get settled into the new place but once we did, the games were on. This was a very interesting format in which the only male players were the QB and the rusher. All the other players were women. And the women balled out. I think collectively they got more touches than they got all year. They all stepped it up big time. Unfortunately, we can only have one champion and that turned out to be the Broncos. Congratulations to our first ever Air-it-Out champions Broncos. Pat still got it. Can’t wait to do it again. Hopefully with less field drama.

Next up is our annual winter charity tournament. As always, the big risk we run into is the weather. Will it hold up for another year? We have definitely been lucky fortunate so far, knock on wood. It will be great to get back to our roots. Spots are starting to fill up so get your squad and get ready for some end of the year fun. Unfortunately, Colorado Springs dropped a 8 man tournament on the same Saturday so turn out may be lighter than expected. Not sure why they do that because it hurts them just as much as it hurts us. We will see how it goes. Until then, see you in Dec. Get them Christmas lights up early.

Take care and God Bless

Brian
